Logo Design 001

In my career most of the logos I have done were for school or personal use.  In an Illustrator course I composed this Logo for my fictitious studio.

I also created this logo for a potential comic studio.

The one success story I had came from this logo created for a friends Gelato business.

This is the design proof I came up with for the exterior building signage.  The completed product looked just like this, and it was beautiful when lit at night.

Vector Artwork 001

When I worked for ZAGG we found a need to have high resolution images of some of the electronic devices that we designed the Invisible Shield for, but we also wanted to keep the size of the file down.  We thought it might be effective to have vector artwork created to look photographic, but we found the process too time consuming when you realize how many new gadgets come out weekly.  Still, here are the vector images that I came up with.

Vehicle Wraps

Early in my career I worked for a company that designed vehicle wraps.  These are some of the select designs I did that I was very proud of.

Sketchbook 5

One evening at our families cabin, my niece (who has quite the imagination herself) described a bear that she saw going through the grove while walking into the cabin from the trailer.  I sketched this up and asked if this is what she saw, which she replied it was.  How the rest of us missed this bear going through the grove is yet to be determined.

While Working at ZAGG (creators of the Invisible Shield") very early in the companies history we toyed with the idea of creating a web comic.  The idea was a character we named "Linkpod" (an iPod with a shield and sword) who would battle sharp objects and protect gadgets from being scratched.  This was one of the concepts that I was particularly enthused about.

Sketchbook 4

This round shows some sketches playing with characters and faces.

Sketchbook 3

My wife and I had a side business for a while where we sold vinyl designs at craft boutiques.  These were some sketches done for some of our seasonal and pirate themed designs.

Sketchbook 2

One of my favorite illustration styles is 1960's Tiki-Lounge retro, as evidenced by these sketches.

Sketchbook 1

In my animation classes we worked with Col-Erase pencils and I really started to love how they handle, so I tend to work a lot with them.
